Nokia N95 Cell Phone.

The N95 has a 5 Mega Pixel Camera, which allow you to snap still and video. All the latest are incloud in the N95 cell phone such asĀ  WiFi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth, Barcode Reader, Infrared, MP3 player, GPS (with Nokia supported maps, city guides and navigation), Web browser, FM Radio, Quickoffice(application to open Word, Powerpoii…nt and Excel files),Calculator, currency converter, Adobe PDF reader, File Compression software (.Zipfiles), Sound Recorder and an endless amount of 3rd party applications available (multi-language dictionaries, VoIP applications, Games,etc..).

Subscribed to a 3rd party application from wifimobile called OneFone. Using this application, have been able to make VoIP calls to the US and 39 other countries for only $16/month. This phone plus the application have more than paid for themselves by what have saved in service charges with the only mobile phone carrier in this country ($.75/minute to the U.S.).

The GPS as well as the mapping that is included is also greatly appreciated when navigating around town. If you find a store that you want to come back to,you can just mark it as a landmark and navigate back anytime. Of course, the GPS and WiFi functions put more a strain on battery life.

The phone allows you to expand your memory to 2GB using a MicroSD card - enough memory to load the whole United States and a few other countries into your map library and still leave room for some MP3s and some pictures.

The N95 also has the capability to integrate with with a Bluetooth keyboard. This allows you make quick changes to documents that you can store on your phone. You can send documents, MP3s and other data via Infrared, Bluetooth or SMS.

The design of the N95 seems a bit on the fragile side, but it built with a good case, you can expect a reasonable life expectancy out of this phone. UsingĀ  the BoxWave soft rubberized case for this phone as well. Its worth $25 to protect your equipment. If you are a world-traveller, guarantee that in exercising the VoIP capabilities of this phone, you too will make the phone pay for itself.
