ASUS UL30A-X5 thin and light laptop is a wonder. It’s a beautiful piece of hardware, very quickly laptop, a great multi tasks, and getting 10 to 12 hours of battery life on stock configuration.
No one laptop seen anything like this; you just keep using it and using it and using it as long as 12 hours usage. Even when every MS Office program running at once plus a bunch of Firefox tabs and iTunes playing music is running you will still get 6-7 hours.
Windows 7 runs really grateful on this laptop.
Actually power management of this laptop and networking features work beautifully on this laptop. The great sleep or wake functionality in Windows 7 makes this laptop start up time largely irrelevant, but even when you do have to start up from scratch it’s nice and speedy as usual.
While using this laptop you could see lots of nice little touches to this machine that let you know Asus is a really class act on his field. For instance you can see Things like the volume and brightness adjustment really attractive on screen displays.
The track pad is quite jumpy and take apart. It’s a quite hard to bring the cursor to the smaller buttons such as scrollbar arrows. This is probably a driver issue on this laptop, so hopefully it will be fixed soon.
It keyboard is very large and easy to type on. So it will make you so easy to type on what you like to type while you are looking something to find on the net.
